After 15 Years, Air Maxes Finally Stage a Remarkable Comeback!
In 2008, the unforgettable Nike Air Max 1 “Keep Rippin Stop Slippin” was launched by Nike, introducing the remarkable Safari texture.
News has recently broken that an updated 2.0 version of these enduringly popular shoes is soon to be released, and we’ve finally been treated to some official images. The refreshed design sees a departure from the original model with the introduction of fuzzy suede material replacing the traditional Safari spots—a change I personally appreciate considering my usual preference for the superbly economical PK God look in my sports footwear.
The attention to detail is impeccable, with the revised heel embroidery now bearing the “Keep Rippin Stop Slippin” slogan. Along with this, the outsole has been given a semi-transparent finish, and the shoe’s interior showcases a kind of design that enhances the overall colour scheme.
The highly anticipated Nike Air Max 1 “Keep Rippin Stop Slippin 2.0” is set to make its debut on the 28th of November. What’s your verdict about it?
